Become a Community of Respect®

This innovative community-wide anti-bias initiative is based on the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL’s) successful No Place for Hate® school program. More than 100 schools in ADL’s Southwest Region have been recognized annually as No Place for Hate® after completing a series of ADL-approved anti-bias activities, signing a Resolution of Respect and creating a diversity committee.

Under the umbrella of the Community of Respect® program, this free, customizable and results-driven program is now available to the larger community. Houston Mayor Bill White and Sugar Land Mayor David Wallace serve as the Honorary Chairpersons of the program, and are joined by a diverse group of business, community, religious, government and educational leaders, all of whom are committed to doing their part to ensure that we are, and always will be a Community of Respect®.

You, too, can be a part of this effort. Here’s how:

Call the ADL's Southwest Regional Office at (713) 627-3490 and ask for your own Community of Respect® Kit, or download the  instructions and forms below.
