ADL’s Glass Leadership Institute (GLI) is one of Houston’s and the nation’s most respected leadership programs for a select group of young leaders (mid 20s to early 40s). GLI allows leaders to learn more about ADL and important domestic and global issues and their implications for today’s Jewish and broader community.
During monthly briefings with local and national ADL staff, lay leaders, and community leaders between September 2017 and June 2018, GLI participants will engage in interactive dinner discussions on issues including civil rights, domestic and international extremism, education, and international affairs.
The program concludes with ADL’s National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. from May 6 -8, 2018 where GLI participants from across the country will meet ADL lay leaders and staff to hear from national policy makers, journalists and foreign leaders on current domestic and international affairs. After completing GLI, graduates will have opportunities to get more involved with ADL’s efforts to combat anti-Semitism, hatred, and bigotry and to promote respect.
