Supreme Court Review 2020

ADL partners with the National Constitution Center for the annual Supreme Court Review.  Distinguished legal scholars Erwin Chemerinsky, Dahlia Lithwick, Paul Clement and Frederick Lawrence will break down the most important legal questions and decisions of the term, on topics such as separation of church and state, immigration, and Title VII employment discrimination.  They also will talk about expectations for next year's Supreme Court term.   Register for the Supreme Court Review here.

Hate Speech and Hate Crimes Targeting the Latin American Community

Join ADL's Centra Division for our summer series webinar on how hate speech and hate crimes have impacted our Latin American community.   We'll explore how the man who killed 23 people at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas became radicalized, and discuss how we can keep hate speech from becoming violent hate.   Participants include Al Madonado, a League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Director, and Oren Segal, ADL's Vice President of our Center on Extremism.

On August 26, 1920, the 19th Amendment was formally adopted, eight days after the State of Tennessee became the 36th state to ratify the constitutional right for women to vote in the United States. Commemorate Women’s Equality Day with a panel of committed experts who will share the history and importance of the women’s suffrage movement and discuss the challenges and voter suppression so many still face today.

Building Bridges, Becoming Allies

Join us for this Zoom session that will look at personal accounts of when hate hits home.  When members of our community are targets of hate, vandalism, violence, xenophobia, discrimination and antisemitism, having allies not only helps those targeted, but helps promote a more just and inclusive community.  Our panel will discuss recent incidents and how others became allies to offer support, build bridges, and help.
