ADL leaders from the Austin, Texoma and Southwest Regional Offices met at the State Capitol February 11 to learn about and lobby on issues related to immigration reform, LGBTQ rights, and religious freedom.  Southwest Regional participants included Board Chair Mark Finkelstein, Debby Kerner, Scott Hochberg, Paul Colbert, Allison Collins, Gail Glasser, Abbie Kamin and Rachel Bresner.

ADL participants reviewed issues of concern and discussed possible bills with civil rights partners from the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF), Equality Texas, and the Texas Freedom Network, and also met with House Speaker Dennis Bonnen, Representatives John Rosenthal and Jessica Farrar, and Senators Carol Alvarado and Borris Miles.
