ADL is concerned about the defacement of the Buffalo Soldiers Museum and the discovery of the vandalism on Buffalo Soldiers Day. We trust the incident will be investigated thoroughly and law enforcement officers will do everything they can to bring the perpetrators to justice.
“The Buffalo Soldiers Museum honors the bravery and commitment to freedom of African American soldiers in this country, and as such, it should be treated with reverence and respect,” said ADL Southwest Regional Director Mark B. Toubin. “Defacing it with graffiti shows disdain and disrespect for the dedication of the soldiers honored there, and that should not be tolerated.”
