No Place for Hate® Applications Already Streaming In

  • October 7, 2013

The deadline for schools to send No Place for Hate® Commitment, Coalition and Intent forms is October 15, but already, as of October 7, more than 60 schools have sent in their forms and declared their intent to become No Place for Hate®.

The program continues to grow yearly, and the Southwest Region anticipates even more schools will apply to become No Place for Hate® this year.

ADL is seeking volunteers to help review forms October 16, 17, and 18.   Volunteers will be looking at forms from 9:30 a.m. to noon on October 16, and from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on October 17 and 18 at ADL’s office.  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Pam Autio at pautio@adl.org.

Volunteers also are needed at the Beau and Abe Merfish No Place for Hate® Youth Summit on Friday, November 1 at South Texas College of Law. If you would be interested in helping out that day, please contact Susan at sshaw@adl.org
