Nearly 30 summer associates from ten law firms began the Summer Associates Research Project (SARP) with a kickoff breakfast headlined by Jean and Jerry Moore Southwest Civil Rights Counsel Cheryl Drazin. Cheryl spoke about the history of ADL, the importance of its work in general, and the significance of the work the summer associates would be doing.
“I wanted them to know the assignments were not busy-work or just a writing project, but in-depth research that would guide our decisions on what cases to be involved with and what our policies and positions would be. The breakfast was generously underwritten and hosted by ADL Board Member Ellyn Josef and her firm, Vinson & Elkins.
Participating firms include: Andrews Kurth, Baker Botts, Blank Rome, Cozen O’Connor, Haynes and Boone, Nathan Sommers Jacobs, Norton Rose Fulbright, Schlanger Silver Barg & Paine, Vinson & Elkins, and Winston & Strawn.
