ADL Honors Mayor Annise Parker with Popkin Award at Busy October Board Meeting

TheADL presented its Milton Popkin Award to Mayor Annise Parker at its Southwest Regional  board meeting on October 22 at Tony’s Restaurant. The Popkin Award recognizes individuals and institutions who have made a unique contribution toward furthering the mission of ADL, and toward translating our country’s ideals into a way of life for all Americans and toward promoting intergroup relations. 

Beau and Abe Merfish No Place for Hate® Youth Summit Helps Students and Educators Respond to Bullying

350 students and 75 educators attended the 2014 Beau and Abe Merfish No Place for Hate® Youth Summit at South Texas College of Law October 24. Summer Associates Research Project Launched
