Join us November 15 at the Hotel Derek for the 2018 No Place for Hate Luncheon honoring the Walter Kase Educator Excellence Awardees.
At the No Place for Hate® Luncheon we celebrate three amazing educators who have made diversity and inclusion a priority in their classrooms. Registration starts at 11:30 am and the program and lunch start at noon. We will have you out and on your way, back to work or other commitments by 1:00 pm.
The Awards are named for Walter Kase, a Polish-born Holocaust survivor, who spent 1942-1945 in five different concentration camps before being liberated at the age of 14.
For over 25 years, after moving to Houston, leading a successful business, and raising a family, Walter tirelessly shared his story about the dangers of prejudice and bigotry and the importance of love, respect, and understanding with youth, educators, and the broader community throughout the state of Texas.
Come be inspired by Walter’s story, and by students’ and teachers’ amazing commitment!
