ADL’s Women’s Initiative Leadership Committee is working hard to plan interesting, informative programs for 2020.
On February 8, the Women’s Initiative is presenting The Green Book at the Ensemble Theatre, inspired by Victor Hugo Green’s historical The Negro Motorist Green Book. If you were lucky enough to get tickets to this sold-out performance, you can participate in a talk-back after the play with performers and Ensemble Theatre Artistic Director Eileen Morris.
While this performance is sold out, tickets are available for other performances through the Ensemble Theatre’s box office.
On March 8, join us at the Houston Rockets game for a pre-game summit on International Women’s Day. The summit will feature a panel of powerful women, including Laurel D’Antoni, wife of Rockets Coach Mike D’Antoni and a mover and shaker in her own right. Look for a registration link in a future issue of Roundup.
If you’d like to sponsor a student athlete for the Summit and the Rockets game, or you need more information about this, contact Assistant Director Margi Levin.
Finally, the Women’s Initiative Leadership Committee is working on a big event tentatively scheduled for October. Stay tuned.
