Senior Associate Director Dena Marks presented a session to Houston Police Department Academy cadets January 21.  The session was to help cadets understand the Jewish community, and prepare the officers-to-be for working cases in the Jewish community.

The session included information on some Jewish holidays and traditions, a definition of anti-Semitism, statistics and stories showing how violent anti-Semitism is on the rise, and tabletop exercises that had cadets responding to scenarios that featured incidents in the Jewish community.
