Former ADL Board Chair and Popkin Award recipient Janet Pozmantier presented the Milton Popkin Award to Rabbi Steve Gross of Houston Congregation for Reform Judaism and Shariq Abdul Ghani of the Minaret Foundation at ADL’s January board meeting. ADL and the Houston Rockets have “teamed” up to host a No Place for Hate® Poetry Slam Video Contest. Each No Place for Hate® school can submit one video depicting the themes of respect, diversity and inclusion. Winners will receive tickets to a Rockets game and be recognized on the court.
